13' Saturn Dinghy with Air FloorIf cruising the open ocean or day trips are your thing, this should be your boat. The 13' Saturn Dinghy Tender is our largest Saturn inflatable boat available with the new inflatable floor and it was designed for all types of boating pleasure. Tough, durable, lightweight and stable; this boat is ideal for all types of activities including cruising, diving, fishing and enjoying our beautiful oceans, lakes and rivers. All models now come standard with the upgraded high pressure dropstitch inflatable floor (rating over 8 psi). This is the largest model boat we make before the floor construction shifts to a sectional hard bottom floor.

With its’ simple setup, the 13' Saturn Dinghy Tender can have you and your family on the water in minutes. Extremely easy maneuvering makes this the perfect boat for almost every situation. The size is perfect for the roof of your RV or the platform of your yacht. It breaks down in seconds and can be easily stored in your SUV or truck. The 13' Saturn Dinghy Tender with the dropstitch inflatable air floor makes portability much easier and cuts the setup and takedown time in half.

The 13' Saturn Dinghy Tender can handle up to 6 persons and comfortably seats 4 adults. It supports an outboard motor of up to 30 HP but will plane and manage effectively with a 15 HP motor. Even with a 9.9 HP outboard motor and 2 people this boat can plane easily.

The 13' Saturn Dinghy Tender is made with our standard 1,100 Dtex PVC with a high density polyester fabric. It has excellent resistance to tearing, tension, abrasion and puncture. The heavy-duty outer PVC layer helps protect against UV rays, ozone and abrasion while the inner layers provide additional strength and support. The double layers of fabric at the bottom of the tubes and rub-strake protector along the keel provide extra protection from sharp rocks and abrasive sand. The pressure relief valve will prevent excessive air pressure in the boats chambers.

One optional accessory is a central console which can be installed directly on the hard floor to provide comfortable seating and easy means of navigation.

CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS

"I used this boat for fishing and taking boat rides around the local lakes and rivers. The 9.8hp motor is powerful enough to get the boat up on a plane with two guys and a day's worth of gear in the boat. With 5 people in the boat things get a little crowded for fishing, but there's still enough room to move around. The wide tubes and hard floor make the boat incredibly stable. You can stand up in it without making it rock, and the boat has handled some big waves (across the middle of Smith Mountain Lake in VA) with no problems. The best thing about this boat is how easy it is to transport and store. The boat and motor fit in a small pickup, and would fit in the back of a large SUV too."

"Well first off let me just say that I live in Oregon and I love your boats! When I received my new boat I went through the steps to put it all together, all was very easy and it looks and performs as stated. I was happy to see very clean glue lines and overall quality of my new SD385. I power it with a mercury 9.9 and it planes very well in light chop with four people in it, With two it just fly across the water! I will buy a Saturn again and also highly recommend these boats to anyone looking for a well made inflatable boat that can take a beating. Thanks to boatstogo I am a proud owner of a very fun boat and shipping was easy and fast."  Darren

I am half way through the second season with this boat. I take it out about every other weekend during the summer.

WHY I BOUGHT IT
I love being on the water. Originally my intent was to carry the boat in the back of my SUV, whip it out at the lake or gulf coast, blow it up and cast off. For me this boat is too big to blow it up at the destination. I bought a jetski trailer and converted from Youtube instructions. Now I leave it on the trailer and tow it to the destination. Now with this boat and the optional launching wheels you really don't need a boat ramp and can push it off the trailer and pull it very easily even with the attached Tohatsu 20hp and gear it is easy to manage.

HANDLING
With the 20hp motor topspeed is right at 22mph with one or two people. In rougher water it cavitates easily and my plan is to add anti-cavitation wings to the motor.
In rough seas it is quite bumpy. Not smooth at all, so plan for that. Largest seas I have been in is 3 and 4 foot. But it is like a cork and just rides on top of the seas.
It is quick to turn and gets up on plane with little throttle.

CONSTRUCTION
I leave the boat outside on the trailer with a cover. In the S. Texas heat everything seems to be holding up well. I apply some 303 UV protectant every couple of months on the exposed parts. Nothing has broken, come apart or let go. I have abused the bottom on sharp shells, sand and rocks. There has been no problem to date. I might be over inflating the tubes, floor and keel a little but not over 1 psi of the recommended pressures. I don't fish from the boat though I have and have even gone into the shallow flats in coastal waters. I wish the drop stitch floor were more stable as my 67 year old ankles and legs don't balance very well on it.

OVERALL
Overall this is a good boat and at the price point it is hard to go wrong. It is constructed well, even abused it holds up well. I suspect this will be a 5 season boat so the amortized costs are well worth the fun it has provided.

My husband and I purchased a 12ft red inflatable boat in 2009. Driving over branches and trees in the river, running into rocks on the shore, and cruising the lakes, this boat is the most durable product I have ever seen. We were so pleased with this product, we just upgraded and bought a 16ft red inflatable boat. I can't wait to try out the new one!!

I am a passionate fisherman and I love spending my time fishing with friends. This boat is perfect for this purpose because it is large enough for me and my fishing buddies. We take our fishing rods and a little luggage and spend our day on the boat. It is great and we all feel pretty comfortable inside it as it is wide enough.

I am pretty glad that the boat is well-protected from the sharp rocks and the abrasion from the sand. It is made of thick material and is quite durable. This is great because I sometimes do not pay much attention whether there are rocks around or where I leave the boat on the shore. So, I definitely needed a solid boat and this one met my expectations

I got a 13ft Inflatable Saturn RED SD385 which my kids love the color I really enjoy the performance that I have with my Yamaha 15hp fill with my two kids, wife and brother cooler, snacks and of course gas we have a delightful day except for the taffic jam in our way back home, the boat is pretty stable and easy to ride, even my wife that was so nevous a the begining (we never had an inflatable) she ended having fun and even lucky since she got the bigger fish that day, we really love the boat so far only two trips but we ca not wait for the weekend to take to the keys. I definitely recomend this inflatable ease to set up, ease to drive and fun to enjoy. I went to the store and Paul was really helpful.
