2025/2026 13' Saturn Triton Fishing Kayak (Green)

The boat technical specifications are nearly identical between the Triton model (TRFK396) and our standard version (FK396), with exception of the deeper raised bow design in the Triton model. These Triton series improvements incorporate the newest technologies in inflatable boat construction and provide an incredible value for those looking to put their kayak to the test.

Our 13' Saturn Fishing Kayak is easy to carry by a single person, inflates/deflates in under 5 minutes, stores in the included storage bag with rough dimensions of 45"x28"x12", and is the most versatile inflatable fishing kayak on the market today. This kayak is the Swiss Army Knife of inflatable fishing kayaks and to make it even better the newest version includes extra thicker black PVC bottom skin layer (over 70% thicker than our 0.9mm PVC tube material) which covers the bottom surface of the kayak and adds a second layer to protect the exterior tube chambers directly in contact with the surface of the water.

This upgraded version also includes upgraded inflation valves to ensure durability and the maximum pressure rating in all chambers. These upgrades provide piece of mind knowing you have the highest quality / value ratio on the inflatable kayak market. This kayak is an absolute must for any RVer or camper where a fishing craft with maximum portability is critical. This is the kayak to own when you want to escape the pandemic and hit the water.

This kayak is made of the same heavy-duty 1100 Dtex PVC (Triton version upgrades include 1.2mm Italian Suijia PVC) as many of our other Saturn inflatable boats and the drop-stitch high-pressure airdeck floor is the most rigid inflatable floor on the inflatable kayak market. The floor is made to support up to 3 adults (even though that would be a tight squeeze). A double layer of PVC fabric is applied to the bottom and an extra layer has been added to the high contact areas of the top tubes supporting the aluminum bench seats. Our rigid high buoyancy tubes and customized floor make the Saturn TRFK396 kayak so stable, that you can stand up and fish if needed (see the photos of our customers doing just that). 13' Saturn Fishing Kayak (FK396 - Does Not Show the FK396X Upgrades)

The 13' Saturn Fishing Kayak comes with 2 removable aluminum benches that can be used for mounting various hardware, such as rod holders, GPS units, video cameras, dive flags, anchor mounts, and even a fish finder. Check out our customer photos and videos showing many of their innovative ideas! If you want even more space and the capability to comfortably accommodate 3 adults you might want to consider our stretched out 14' TRFK430 Fishing Kayak. What makes our inflatable fishing kayaks so unique, is the multitude of ways they can be used. You can sit directly on the aluminum benches to paddle using the included kayak paddle or you can remove the seats and install our custom high-back kayak seats for full back support. It is also possible to replace the rear aluminum bench with a longer version and add a vertical plate for an optional electric motor.

The 13' Saturn TRFK396 fishing inflatable kayak is a breeze to paddle due to its narrow profile, high buoyancy exterior tubes, and rigid drop stitch floor. Please note that this kayak is not a self-bailer. It was designed for lakes, ponds, flatwater rivers, oceans and bays. If you are looking for a self-bailing kayak, no need to look any further than our 13' Saturn Whitewater Kayak. If you want this specific model and absolutely need it to be a self-bailing unit you can cut out 4-6 self bailing holes in the kayak bottom to let excess water escape. However, that option may allow water to entire above the kayak floor depending on the weight capacity and is really not advised because the repair time if you are unsatisfied is lengthy.

"I am all the way in East Africa, and I am crazy about fishing. I bought the kayak via a mutual friend from the US after I saw his boat. Throughout my life I've had lots of deferent boats, but man this is a nice boat. I am using the boat in Kenya great lakes like Lake Victoria. I intend to use it also at the coast for fishing on the reefs." Marius, Kenya

"16 months ago I purchased three kayaks - 2 FK396 and 1 SK470. Soon thereafter they were put to use. My wife and I, several of our friends, and grandchildren have paddled the boats on the Great Lakes, inland lakes and rivers in Michigan, and the Intercostals as well as rivers on the Gulf Coast of Florida. I know we have 150+ miles and many hours of paddling the boats with no problems and lots of fun times.."

"I wanted to write a quick letter describing my experience with the FK396 fishing inflatable kayak that I purchased last June. We have been using an inflatable kayak for the last four years. We purchased a Sea Eagle 330 to take with us in our fifth wheel trailer as we traveled full time around the country for approximately three years. Although the Sea Eagle did a satisfactory job most of the time, we found it wanting in several areas. I like to fish in everything from small rivers and ponds to large lakes and even inshore ocean bays. I was looking for a heavy duty inflatable that I could easily mount fishing accessories to and even possibly a trolling motor. My search took me to the website where I found just what I was looking for. I must admit I was  extremely skeptical when I saw the low price on what seemed to be a very high quality boat. I had seen similar boats advertised for at least twice the price but the specifications and the reviews I read convinced me to give the FK396 a try..."

I bought this kayak used off of the FB marketplace. I've owned the Sea Eagle, Advanced Elements, and a hardshell kayaks, so I have something to compare it to. The Sea Eagle and AE make really good kayaks, though the Saturn is definitely a step above. It tracks very well, but not as well as my hardshell, which is a high end perception kayak. It is heavy and bulky, but not any more bulky than my Sea Eagle. I will gladly sacrifice durability for weight.

What sets the FK396 apart is its incredible versatility. With two removable aluminum benches, you can customize the kayak to suit your specific needs. Attach rod holders, fish finders, GPS units, or even video cameras to the benches, enhancing your fishing experience with convenient accessories. Alternatively, you can remove the benches and install regular kayak seats for added comfort. The kayak's multiple D-ring attachments allow for endless configuration possibilities, giving you the flexibility to create your perfect fishing setup.

It's important to note that the FK396 is not a self-bailer, which means it doesn't have built-in drainage holes. While this may be a consideration for those planning to use the kayak in whitewater rivers, it is perfectly suited for lakes, slow rivers, oceans, or bays. However, if you do find yourself needing to remove excess water from the kayak, a super absorbent ShamWow can easily and effectively soak up the water, acting as a makeshift pump. This demonstrates the kayak's adaptability and the ingenious solutions that can be employed when needed.

The FK396 V2.0 has proven to be an excellent fishing kayak. It's compact and easy to transport, perfect for my RV trips. The kayak's construction is robust, made of 1100 Dtex PVC, like Saturn's inflatable boats and rafts.

The gear tracks and rod holder patches are a wonderful addition for my fishing needs. I appreciate the kayak's flexibility, with its multiple configuration options. For those who value portability, durability, and versatility in a fishing kayak, the FK396 V2.0 is a worthy choice.

Its rigid high buoyancy tubes offer outstanding stability, allowing anglers to stand up and fish with confidence. The kayak's narrow profile and oversized tubes make it a breeze to paddle, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable fishing experience. Whether you're casting a line or reeling in a catch, this kayak provides a stable and secure platform to pursue your passion.

The FK396's attention to safety is commendable. The double layer of PVC fabric on the air floor and top of the tubes, between the benches, provides added protection against accidental fishing hook accidents. Additionally, the option to use a type IV flotation cushion beneath the kayak seat not only increases comfort but also acts as a personal flotation device (PFD) in case of emergency. This kayak prioritizes your safety, ensuring you can fish with peace of mind.

I wanted to write a quick letter describing my experience with the FK396 fishing inflatable kayak that I purchased last June. My search took me to the boatstogo.com website where I found just what I was looking for. I must admit I was extremely skeptical when I saw the low price on what seemed to be a very high quality boat. I had seen similar boats advertised for at least twice the price but the specifications and the reviews I read convinced me to give the FK396 a try.

We received our kayak in June of 2010 and I set about rigging it with a fish finder and pole holders and I made a dolly to transport it. All this was made extremely easy due to the many attachment points ( D-rings) and the aluminum platforms (seats) front and back. I was pleasantly surprised by how heavy duty this boat is and the high quality of construction as compared to my Sea Eagle and I was anxious to get it in the water. In July of 2010 we left on an extended trip to the northwest. Our first chance to use our new boat was in the Bend/Sunriver, OR area. We kayaked down many miles of the Deschutes River as well as the Little Deschutes and put the boat in several of the local lakes. The first thing I noticed was that this kayak is built like a tank. It is extremely stable for a kayak. I am over 250 pounds and I can stand up in the boat without fear of capsizing. The wide stance of the boat gives a great sense of security and the boat tracks very nicely downstream. I turned the boat around and paddled upstream for about a quarter mile just to see how it paddled against the current. Although it is not as fast as my smaller Sea Eagle, I found I really didn’t give up very much in speed for the extra size and stability of this boat. I met a river guide on the Deschutes River who examined the boat and said it was easily as well built as the boats he uses on guided trips on up to class three or four whitewater.

After three weeks in Bend, OR we moved on to Couer d Alene, ID where we spent a month using the boat almost every day on most of the local lakes and rivers. We used the FK396 on clam water, rough water, upstream and downstream and caught many fish out of this boat. After a summers worth of heavy use I am still very pleased with my purchase and I am apparently not the only one. I am constantly being stopped by fellow RV’ers who, like myself, is looking for a good, strong fishing platform that is still easily portable. The strength and durability of this boat is very apparent. I had this boat inflated for three weeks in Oregon and a month in Idaho and I never had to add air. Compare this to my Sea Eagle that needs to be topped off literally every time you use it. While using my Sea Eagle, I have gotten several punctures from sharp fish hooks over the years. This last summer I struck the FK396 with the same type lures that had caused punctures in my Sea Eagle and I saw no damage at all to my FK396. My next step is to mount a trolling motor and that project is currently underway. I can’t wait to try it out this spring.
